This week in cooking we made Mexican Toasties. We used wholemeal wraps, and filled them with grated cheese, ham, red onion and tomato relish. I really liked them because the cheese melted and stretched when you bit into them and the spiciness of the tomato relish.
We placed our ingredients on half of the wrap and then slid them into a buttered hot fry pan. When the cheese started to melt, we folded the unfilled half over the top of the other side.

My Cupcake
My Cupcake
On Thursday we made banana cupcakes. They smelt so good while they were cooking. When they came out of the oven they were golden in colour. We had to wait until after lunch to decorate them.
I chose chocolate icing to spread over the top, I then sprinkled popping candy, stars and marshmellows on the top. I then pushed a chocolate star into the middle of the cupcake.
I made four cupcakes, but I only entered one. I gave one each to Mum and Dad, and I ate one. It was very very very yummy.

Our Fried Rice
Today Sophie, Lucas, Tom and I made our very own Fried Rice.
Our list of ingredients are:
We followed our recipe and we all worked as a team. Here we are all chopping our vegetables up.
We all tasted the vegetables raw, and we liked all of them. We thought the capsicum was the sweetest, and the broccoli was the crunchiest. We then all took turns to stir the vegetables in the frypan.
The mixture smelt good and we all gave it a thumbs up, well a double thumbs up.
This is our finished dish. It was very yummy and we all decided that we would cook it again. We could have added some pineapple, mushroom, cauliflower, cabbage, and even some meat or egg.
